FAQs

How will building help us reach our community for Christ?

By updating our kids, student, senior adult, and gathering spaces, we will increase our capacity to connect, equip, and multiply disciples among every generation. We believe this will allow us to more effectively make disciples For Generations to Come in Lebanon, throughout Wilson County, and to the ends of the earth.

How much are we looking to raise?

Building and planning for the future requires wisdom, faith, and sacrifice. Our leadership team has been seeking wisdom and praying earnestly to hear and discern God’s will in this process. As a result, our team has set the campaign goal at $4 Million.

In celebration of God leading us through this journey, our church family will turn in commitment cards together on Sunday, September 24th during our worship services. Then, on Sunday, October 15th, we will share the results of our efforts and give thanks to the Lord for who he is and how he has provided for us.

How will we pay for this?

Because of the historical stewardship and generosity of our congregation, we already have approximately $6.4 million available to update our properties. Through this generation’s continued generosity, we sense we will raise around $4 million during our campaign. Then, pending the Lord’s guidance and our member’s affirmation, we will borrow any remaining funds needed to accomplish our goals. Through God’s guidance and the continued sacrificial giving of this generation, we believe we will reach our goals and be able to continue making disciples For Generations to Come.

How can I help?

  1. Pray fervently. Join us in praying that God would not only provide for our property needs, but that he would lead us into a deeper faith in him through For Generations to Come.
  2. Commit to learn. Gather with us as we share about our campaign and vision during our upcoming worship services, meetings, and events.
  3. Give generously. Ask God to show you what a sacrificial gift looks like during this season and take whatever bold steps are required to see it through.
